Today there are SEO promotion and consulting services for small businesses. They hire people with knowledge in search engine optimization and some time ago SEO wasn't even known.

With Google's constant algorithm changes, SEO changes too. What will happen with SEO in the future? Will SEO keep changing or eventually bail out?

Should i rely on SEO as a long term job once i am accepted and should i keep improving my knowledge there? Is SEO recognzed as a regular daily job in Ministry Of Labor?

If you think you have all the skills that you need for SEO then go ahead and let it be your main source of income. I have a friend who does SEO for a living and she's doing pretty well. But she's pretty good that's why she never runs out of projects.

There is no way search engine optimization can lose its future, it will remain useful and most effective if computers lives.
We are expecting more futures from them.

In my opinion, SEO will be there for another 10 years now.

I believe SEO will continually change and adapt to Google or whoever is on top. It will never be gone. I think for as long as Google reveals info about their algo and criteria for a good website, then, there is always something to be optimized.

SEO certainly has a future in it. Actually, it's a growing market & one of the best to be in, especially now with a down economy. Were you interested into going into a specific aspect of SEO?

And yes, SEO changes everyday! It takes a lot to keep up with it. If you start looking at how SEO worked 5 years ago, it doesn't compare to today.

The reason why SEO was not known before is because SEO back then was natural. Everything is just happening on its own and traffic are all organic. Then people coined the term and started doing it unnaturally that causes lots of spam.
